AMENDMENT NO. [3] TO
AGREEMENT NO. 2023-155
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO AGREEMENT NO. 202 3-155 is made and entered into on 21 May 2026 , by and between the CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, a municipal corporation (referred to herein as “CITY”), and AQUEOUS VETS, a California Corporation authorized to do business in California (referred to herein as “CONTRACTOR”) (Collectively, the “Parties”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, on June 28, 2023, the Parties entered into Agreement No. 2023-155 for removal and replacement of Granular Activated Carbon (“GAC”) in vessels at multiple sites from time to time; and WHEREAS, on June 12, 2024, the Parties entered into Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 2023-155 thereby extending the Agreement’s term by one (1) additional year and increasing total compensation by One Million Dollars ($1,000,000); and
WHERAS, on June 11, 2025, the Parties entered into Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 2023- 155 thereby extending the Agreement’s term by one (1) additional year and increasing total compensation by Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000); and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to enter into Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 2023-155, extending the term of the Agreement for one additional year in ac cordance with the original agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the foregoing recitals herein, CITY and CONTRACTOR mutually agree as follows:
1. Section 3 of Agreement No. 2023-155 entitled “TERM” is hereby amended to read as follows:
3. TERM. Unless terminated sooner, as set forth herein, this Agreement shall terminate on June 30, 2027.
