SUBJECT: Receive and file department agreements over $40,000 and under $100,000 between May 13, 2026 and May 26, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends receiving and filing the report.
BACKGROUND:
In accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code Chapter 3.20 the Finance Director must report other financial reports required to indicate the financial condition of the city periodically to the City Council. In conjunction with changes to Bakers field Municipal Code Section 3.20, an informational report was requested to provide documentation of contracts between $40,000 and $100,000 to increase transparency and measure the effectiveness of the changes in contract authority threshold amounts.
