SUBJECT: Accept bid and approve Construction Projects Agreement with Remedial Transportation Services, Inc. (not to exceed $436,925.00) for the Antongiovanni Park Grading Improvements Project. (Ward 7)
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends acceptance of bid and approval of agreement.
BACKGROUND:
City owns a 15-acre Antongiovanni Park Site, located at 7801 Mountain Ridge Drive. The proposed project includes the mass grading of the entire park site in preparation for future construction of Phase I of the park. On May 21, 2026, City solicited bids for the Antongiovanni Park Grading Improvements Project (Project).
On June 18, 2026, five bids were received for this Project:
Remedial Transportation Services Inc. $436,925.00
Nagles Earthworks Inc. $719,497.95
Synergy Construction & Development Corp. $1,062,000.00
Yanez Construction Inc. $1,165,500.00
Guinn Construction Inc. $1,498,209.00
Staff reviewed the bid proposal submitted by Remedial Transportation Services Inc. (Contractor) in the amount of $436,925.00, was deemed acceptable and recommends approval of an agreement for a not to exceed amount of $436,925.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Project is funded by Public Safety and Vital Services funds within the Recreation and Parks Department Capital Improvement Program. No additional funds are needed for this portion of the overall project.
