SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. F25-009 with Tate’s Janitorial Service Inc.
(increase compensation by $60,000; revised not to exceed $120,000 and extend term one year) to continue the supply of Janitorial Services at the McMurtrey Aquatic Center.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment.
BACKGROUND:
On July 30, 2025, City Staff approved the annual contract for the supply of janitorial services at the McMurrey Aquatic Center to Tate’s Janitorial Services Inc., in the amount of $60,000; renewable annually thereafter for four consecutive one-year periods.
If approved, Amendment No. 1 will extend the term by one year and increase compensa tion by $60,000 for a revised not to exceed amount of $120,000 to allow the continuance of janitorial service.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding source for this contract is the Recreation and Parks Department’s operating budget.
