SUBJECT: Gosford Planned Sewer Area reimbursement agreement with Deertrail VAG 1, LLC (not to exceed $510,450) for design and construction of a portion of the sewer improvements. (Ward 5)
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
BACKGROUND:
Deertrail Vag I, LLC (Developer) is developing tract 6859 on the southwest corner of McKee Road and Gosford Road. As part of a sewer study conducted for Tract Map 6859, the Developer was required to design and construct a portion of the sewer improvements consisting of a portion of the 18 -inch sewer line, and 2 manholes.
The Developer is requesting reimbursement for its costs of installing the above noted sewer improvements. Reimbursement will be made from fees collected from the Gosford Planned Sewer Area (Resolution 100-2023) in the amount of $510,450.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Monies collected for the Gosford Planned Sewer Area have been held in the Gosford Planned Sewer Area trust account. The reimbursement will be taken from this trust. There will be no impact to the City ’s General Fund.
