AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO RESOLUTION NO. 145-2025
SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE GENERAL
SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT UNITS
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Bakersfield authorizes City Council to provide for salaries and related benefits for officers and employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City recognizes all Unrepresented, General Supervisory and Management as a “Unit” of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined what salaries and related benefits should be for officers and employees of the General Supervisory and Management Units of the City; and
WHEREAS, a definition and complete list of all positions within the General Supervisory and Management Units that this Resolution applies to is attached hereto as Exhibit A which also includes corresponding salaries as Appendix 1 to Exhibit A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield that:
1. Unpresented, non-supervisory and non-management classifications will be added to the unit.
2. General Supervisory and Management Units is hereby renamed to the Unpresented, General Supervisory, and Management Unit.
3. Exhibit A outlines the salaries and benefits of the Unpresented, General Supervisory, and Management Unit.
4. This Resolution shall commence upon adoption by the City Council.
