SUBJECT: Resolution in Support of the Establishment of a Dedicated “Kids Zone” Childcare Space within the Kern County Courthouse.
RECOMMENDATION:
This Staff recommends approval.
BACKGROUND:
At the June 24, 2026 City Council meeting, a public speaker spoke and presented a draft/sample Resolution in support of the establishment of a dedicated “Kids Zone” childcare space within the Kern County Courthouse.
Councilman Gonzales asked the City Attorney to bring the matter to the next Council meeting for consideration.
