BACKGROUND:

The Water Department has several projects scheduled for construction in FY 202 6-27. Several of these projects require construction management and inspection services beyond the capacity of current City staff. On January 21, 2026, City approved Resolution No. 009-2026 an On-Call Library of Professional Firms qualified to provide professional serv ices, including but not limited to, Construction Management and Inspection Services. Six consulting firms submitted Statements of Qualification s for Construction Management and Inspection Services and were pre-qualified for these projects.

On J uly 7, 2026, Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group (P&P) submitted a proposal for construction management and inspection services for the L-208 TCP Removal project. This project includes the construction of a new treatment system to treat TCP for an existing municipal water well.

City staff recommend approving an agreement with P&P due to their strong qualifications and a competitive proposal. The agreement covers the full construction phase at a total cost not to exceed $148,200.00.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Sufficient funds are budgeted in the Water Resources Capital Improvement Budget within the Domestic Water Fund, therefore, no impact to the City General Fund.
