SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to agreement No. 2025-158 with NearMap US Inc (to include a NearMap Widget) for a cloud-based, high-resolution aerial imagery subscription services for GIS mapping and analysis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
BACKGROUND:
Nearmap US, Inc. provides cloud -based, high-resolution aerial imagery subscription services for GIS mapping and analysis. This allows for easy integration into applications and provides detailed, up-to- date location intelligence for all the city's departments, including Public Safety. Using Nearmap imagery is an efficient and cost -effective approach for providing the most accurate and up -to-date imagery when compared against the cost and time required to purchase annual aerial photography flown by a private party.
This amendment reflects a change to the scope of work and attached exhibits, providing access to new features available in the system. There is no change to terms or compensation.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this purchase is allocated for Fiscal Year 2026-27 and paid for within the Equipment Fund.
