SUBJECT: Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 2023-267 with ImageTrend, LLC (increase compensation by $478,997; revised not to exceed $895,000 and extend the term an additional three (3) years) for continued software services for the Fire Department.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommend approval of this agreement.
BACKGROUND:
On November 29, 2023, the city entered into Agreement 2023 -267 with lmageTrend, LLC to acquire ImageTrend software and training resources. This software enables the integration of existing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems, streamlining the preparation of reports required by the state of California for the Bakersfield Fire Department.
The city is putting Agreement No. 2 2023-267 before the Council to request an amendment to Agreement No. 2023-267 to extend the term for an additional three (3) years and combine all software and services into one agreement and align all the terms. This amendment increases compensation by $479,997.00 with the NEW total not to exceed an amount of $895,000.00
FISCAL IMPACT:
The action to amend this agreement will be funded in the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Fire Department budget, it will only use the CUPA Operating Budget which are fee’s collected not through the City’s General Fund.
