RADeCO, Inc is a certified technical partner, reseller and trainer of Boston Dynamics. RADeCO is the exclusive distributor for Boston Dynamics in the public safety market. We were one of the first adopters of the SPOT robot before it was commercially available. We have been in business for over 70 years.
RADeCO offers a unique public safety kit that differs from others. Being a technical partner of Boston Dynamics we increase the value of the payloads on the robot. RADeCO public Safety kit is called CERBERUS. This includes the SPOT Robot, Disruptor kits, CBRN detection Package, X- Ray kits, unique radio package and mounts.
The CERBERUS kit utilizes proprietary mounts, H-Pole Antennas, marston plates, bot locks, quick release locks for the desired payloads. The specialized mounts give the operator better operating range of the robot. The mounts mount the radios on the back of the robot giving it further range as you can turn up the wattage on the radio. The mounting system does not give off any RF interference with the robot. The CERBERUS public safety kit gives you operating distance of 1500 Kilometers of range beyond line of sight. The radio configuration along with the specialized H-Pole Antenna is RADeCO’s design for SWAT, EOD and CBRN operations. Radio communications are the most important part of using robots and being a technical partner with Boston Dynamics allows us to make our own specialized kits.
RADeCO is also the only company that provides the CBRN kit that includes the APEX detector that you are looking to purchase. RADeCO was awarded a SIBIR contract from DHS to develop a CBRN package on the SPOT robot. We have over 50 different sensor payloads built into our software package called Blackstone and is the only certified technical partner offering this type of kit on a SPOT robot.
RADeCO is also the only certified reseller for Boston Dynamics that is allowed to provide the disruptor Kits. We are also a certified distributor for the disruptor kits.
We are also MAC certified through Persistent Systems MPU5 radios that operate the robot. We also are a certified resell of the radios.
RADeCO purchases the robot from Boston Dynamics and upfits the robot with the Disruptor Kits, CBRN kit, and radio packages which are proprietary to RADeCO. The CERBERUS package is very different than the off the shelf robot package. It is unique from RADeCO.
RADeCO also offers a free chat forum for our customers. The forum is made up of all the departments we have supplied SPOT robots too. The Forum is a great tool for your operators to share tricks, 3D printed drawings, and learn from other departments that have been using the SPOT robot in operations for years. This is also only offered by RADeCO.
RADeCO also is a certified trainer for SPOT robots. We offer 1-2 days of training to go over everything you need to know about operating SPOT. We also go over the maintenance and upkeep of the robot. We also offer 24 hours of customer service via phone to go along with the forum.
