AMENDMENT NO. [1] TO
AGREEMENT NO. 2025-099
This AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT NO. 2025-099 is made and entered into on ________________, by and between the CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, a municipal corporation (referred to herein as “CITY”), and GOVERNMENTJOBS.COM, INC dba NEOGOV a corporation authorized to do business in California (referred to herein as “PROVIDER”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, On June 25, 2025, CITY entered into Agreement No. 2025-099 with Miller Mendel Inc . for a five (5) year subscription to PROVIDER’s electronic Statement of Personal History (“eSOPH”) software which provides assistance with pre-employment background investigations for the Bakersfield Police Department; and
WHEREAS, In April 2026, Miller Mendel Inc. was acquired by PROVIDER and PROVIDER assumed all obligations and liabilities of Agreement No. 2025-099; and
WHEREAS, CITY and PROVIDER have agreed to continue to provide the products and perform the Scope of Work set forth in the Agreement, and C ITY desires to accept such assumption and assignment,
NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the foregoing recitals herein, CITY and PROVIDER mutually agree as follows:
1. It is understood by both parties that all references to Miller Mendel Inc, as used throughout Agreement No. 2025 -099, including all Exhibits, shall refer to and be understood as NeoGov. PROVIDER warrants and agrees that all provisions of Agreement No. 2025 -099 are in full force and effect, and PROVIDER accepts and assumes the assignment of the Agreement and all contemplated obligations and liabilities from and after the effective date of the Agreement.
2. Except as amended herein, all provisions of Agreement No. 2025-099 shall remain in full force and effect.
