I would bring skills like problem-solving, goal driven, and abilty to bring people together to brainstorm ideas.
I would like to be involved with the City of Banning and learn more about the city as well. I like the people who live in Banning, who enjoy the surroundings and events.
By serving the City of Banning I will be more knowledgeable about what the city offers and can then encourage my highschool students to discover and become involved with the community.
The City of Banning offer many resources, activites and events. I would like to discuss how we can continue to outreach more to familes who would benefit; as I currently know about many families who are not informed. 12 13

I think one of the skills I can bring to the Banning Youth City Council is that I'm very versaltile. I always try to see things from every point of view possible. I am willing to compromise but am not about to be taken advantage of.My motto in life is "Love your enemies, for they tell you your faults." -Benjamin Franklin.I would be a new fresh mind if chosen for this esteemed position.
I am interested in this position because throughout my life I have always had a passion for leadership. It has been my dream since I was 6 years old to someday become a politican, or even a governor someday in the distant future. I love being around people with similar ideas of leadership, and the idea that together we can build a strong, beautiful, and diverse community. I have an intense love for Banning and its people, all so different but so the same in our love for our wonderful town. As a little kid I would go to the Booster Club and Stagecoach meeting with my parents who were on that commitee and I just loved watching them work as a team.
Growing up, I always loved the quaint town feel of Banning. From the Stagecoach days to the Battle for the Wheel football game. I think maybe there is only one thing I would change about Banning. Starting with the beautification of Banning, I love the towny vintage feel of the town and that doesn't mean I want to completely change it just make it a bit more modern. That is why I love this town because it is so warm and welcoming, I feel like we are not just a town but a community. 16 17

The unique skills I would provide to the Banning Youth Council are my outspokenness and my analytical mind, But most importantly, I've been an active citizen of Banning most my life having used essentially every means of getting from place to place. I've biked, I've walked, I've skated and even taken the bus to most places in and around town.
I most interested in serving on the Youth Council in order to make changes to a community in which owe so much. Banning is my hometown and I would love to be able to work through it's flaws and be able to make the best possible experience for both citizens and tourist.
If appointed, I would be most interested in discussing public infrastructure and connectivity in Banning. I have always been someone that believes, in order to have a strong city the residents must have an easy and accessible place to meet one another.
