CANNABIS WORKSHOP PRESENTATION
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In June 2021, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 974-2021 which permitted commercial cannabis activities in the City. The City Council then adopted Ordinance No. 977-2021 on October 4, 2021 amending the City’s cannabis land use regulations as follows:
- Activated carbon filters required for odor control when growing/manufacturing cannabis - Cannabis licensee is required to get Condition Use Permit - Cannabis licensee is required to execute a Development Agreement with the City The City Attorney will be presenting an overview of commercial cannabis regulations and requirements within the city.

There is no fiscal impact regarding this discussion of this item.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council receives the presentation.
