CHANGE OF OFFICERS FOR YEAR 2022
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Approve the 2022 Change of Officers for the Harvey House Foundation. Accept the 'Statement of Information' reflecting updated information.
DISCUSSION:
Subject to Sections 5.01 and 5.02 of the Foundation's Bylaws (amended in 1993 in Resolution No. 2-93- BHHF), the Mayor of the City of Barstow shall always serve as the President of the Corporation, the Mayor Pro Tem shall always serve as the Vice President of the Corporation, the City Clerk shall always serve as the Secretary of the Corporation, and the City Treasurer shall always serve as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation.
Section 5.02, except as provided in Section 5.01 and except in the case of the initial officers designated by the incorporator, states each officer shall hold office correspondingly with election to the following City Offices and until the term to such office expires, or until the death, resignation or removal of such officer.
Updates for 2022 include designating Mayor Pro Tem Noble as the Vice-President and City Manager Willie Hopkins as the Designated Agent. As the City has not filled the Assistant City Manager or Finance Director vacancies, Administrative Services Manager Heidy Riley will continue to serve as the Assistant Financial Officer.
The officers roster for the Harvey House Foundation has been updated reflecting the changes noted above:
