COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUND APPLICATION FROM BABIES SO SPECIAL EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Babies So Special, is asking for financial assistance to help offset the costs of the Caleb's Superhero 5K Color Run to be held on March 26, 2022, at the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sports Park.
DISCUSSION:
Babies So Special is hosting a fundraiser on March 26, 2022, called Caleb's Superhero 5K Color Run at the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sports Park to raise money and bring awareness to the disabled community. The event will encompass the whole family/community and will feature music, dancing, food vendors, face painting, photo booth, magician, stand-up comedy, and more.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$2,000 of in-kind donations of fee waivers. Cash grant awards to-date for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 total $1,000 charged to 102.150.542.07.755 and in-kind donations of fee waivers totaling $50,650.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $2,000 for waiver of fees for use of the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sports Park.
