The purpose of this event is to inform residents and service providers of the area about existing resources and needs and how to connect them. This event will involve vendors from all over the area and the county that provide resources to our community and our veterans. It will involve information and activities to build awareness and begin dialogue with providers.

I agree that there is a formal process in place to conduct background checks on all employees and volunteers who work with persons under the age of 18 years and senior citizens.
I understand that an incomplete application will not be accepted and that the organization or applicant will not be considered for funding. (If the application is being submitted on behalf of an organization or school, an additional signature is required.)

Rules and Regulations:
1. Must have security guards for the entire time of the event. (1 guard per 50 guests and proof of contract
2. Only Beer and Wine can be brought into the facily by the reserving party unless the event is being atered by a business with a liquor license. (Proof required . Event must end no later than midnight and clean-up will take place right after the party ends
4. Security Deposit will not be refunded if the facility is not clean and left in the same condition as it was received in.
5. Security Deposit will not be refunded if any fight or disturbances happen during the event, inside or outside of the facility.

It is the mission of Desert Sanctuary Inc. to:
The mission of the Desert Sanctuary, Inc. is to provide for people in need, including - but not limited to - individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, and to provide a haven safe from violence, a place of temporary refuge.
The purpose of the Veteran's Connection is to bring awareness to the veteran and military community about services and resources available to our residents. We will have 40+ vendors, including from our military bases, which will interact with attendees and provide useful information and education about the services they offer. As last year, (which was held at Barstow College) we will invite vendors who will provide services especially for homeless veterans and those with challenges to accessing services.
