COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUND APPLICATION FROM THE BARSTOW POLICE DEPARTMENT/2022 BAKER TO VEGAS RELAY RACE
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Barstow Police Department is asking for a cash grant of $500 to assist with the expense for the 2022 Baker 2 Vegas Relay Race.
DISCUSSION:
The Barstow Police Department is requesting a cash grant of $500 to help offset the costs of the 2022 Baker 2 Vegas Relay Race that will occur on April 9, 2022. All proceeds from the event will go to the Barstow Police Activities League (P.A.L.).
Attached is the Community Promotional Fund Application along with supporting documents for Council review
FISCAL IMPACT:
Request for cash grant award of $500. Year-to-date for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 total of $1,000 charged to 102.150.542.07.755 and in-kind donations of fee waivers totaling $54,650.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $500.
