AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION BY THE BARSTOW POLICE DEPARTMENT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representatives from the Barstow Police Department will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the Baker to Vegas Relay Race held on April 9, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
At the March 21, 2022, City Council meeting, Council awarded a Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $500 to the Barstow Police Department to help offset the costs of the organization's participation in the Baker to Vegas Relay Race held on April 9, 2022. This donation was included in the FY 2021/22 budget.
Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or inkind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for the benefit of the community. The Barstow Police Department, as a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, will be providing its after-event report and presentation.
