AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION BY THE KIWANIS CLUB OF BARSTOW
CROSSROADS ON ITS ANNUAL WINE & GOODS AUCTION
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representative(s) from the Kiwanis Club of Barstow Crossroads will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the organization's annual Wine & Goods Auction held April 30, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
At the October 18, 2021 City Council meeting, Council waived fees associated with the use of the Cora Harper Fitness Center (Measure Q community promotional fund donation) to help offset the costs of the annual Wine & Goods Auction held April 30, 2022. The Community Promotional Fund donation was included in the FY 2021/22 budget.
Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or inkind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for benefit of the community. The Kiwanis Club of Barstow Crossroads, as a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, will be providing its after-event report and presentation.
