AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION BY THE HIGH DESERT JR. SHOOTERS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representative(s) from the High Desert Jr. Shooters will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the organization's Sport Shooting Banquet held April 23, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
At the April 4, 2022, City Council meeting, Council waived the fees associated for the use of the Cora Harper Center for the Sport Shooting Banquet (Community Promotional Fund) to help offset the costs of this event held on April 23, 2022. The waiver of fees was included in the FY 2021-2022 budget.
Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or inkind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for benefit of the community. The High Desert Jr. Shooters, as a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, will be providing its after-event report and presentation.
