EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Art and Industrial Women's Club is seeking financial assistance to help offset the costs of hosting its annual Juneteenth celebration at Sturnacle Park in the amount of $1,000.
DISCUSSION:
The Art & Industrial Women’s Club is once again hosting its annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 18, 2022 at Sturnacle Park. The organization is seeking financial assistance to help offset the costs of the event in the amount of $1,000.
Attached is the Community Promotional Fund Application along with supporting documents for Council review.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Request for cash grant award of $1,000. Year-to-date for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 total of $1,500 charged to 102.150.542.07.755 and in-kind donations of fee waivers totaling $56,750.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve a Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $1,000 to the Art and Industrial Women's Club.
