AGENDA MATTER:
FINAL ACCEPTANCE FOR THE HVAC REPLACEMENT AT THE HARVEY HOUSE, PROJECT 2021- 02 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting City Council to authorize Final Acceptance of the HVAC Replacement at the Harvey by filing the attached Notice of Completion.
DISCUSSION:
On August 30,2021, the City Council approved a contract to CJS Cooling Tower Services for the HVAC replacement at the Harvey House. The removal and installation of the new cooling tower/chiller has been completed in compliance with the approved plans and specifications. Staff is requesting the City Council approve the Final Acceptance of the project and authorize staff to submit the required Notice of Completion to the San Bernardino County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The approved total project budget was $223,500.00 and the project was completed for $215,992.37. This initiative was completed under budget by $7,507.63.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff Recommends the City Council to take the following actions:
1. Approve the Final Acceptance of the Project 2021-02, HVAC Replacement at the Harvey House
2. Authorize staff to file the attached Notice of Completion
