AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION FROM BARSTOW COMMUNITY COALITION/DESERT SANCTUARY INC.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representatives from Barstow Community Coalition/Desert Sanctuary Inc. will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the Veteran's Resource Fair held on June 30, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
At the February 7, 2022, City Council meeting, the Council awarded a Community Promotional Fund inkind donation in the amount of $2,000 to the Barstow Community Coalition/Desert Sanctuary Inc. to help offset the costs of the organization of the Veteran's Resource Fair held on June 30, 2022 at the Cora Harper Center. This donation was included in the FY 2021/22 budget.
Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or inkind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for the benefit of the community. The Barstow Community Coalition/Desert Sanctuary Inc., as a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, will be providing its after-event report and presentation.
