APPROVAL OF CITY COUNCIL AND CITY CLERK TRAVEL TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA
CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN LONG BEACH, CA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel to the League of California Cities Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA for Mayor Paul Anthony Courtney, Council Member Marilyn Dyer Kruse, Council Member Barbara Rose and City Clerk Andrea Flores.
DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities Annual Conference is scheduled for September 7 - 9, 2022, in Long Beach, CA. It is requested that the City Council approve attendance at this event for Mayor Paul Anthony Courtney, Council Member Marilyn Dyer Kruse, Council Member Barbara Rose and City Clerk Andrea Flores.
Estimated costs to attend this conference per person are as follows:
Conference Registration $ 600.00
Travel/Transportation $ 150.00
Parking $ 150.00
Meals $ 300.00
Hotel $ 750.00
TOTAL $1,950.00
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2022/23 budget from General Fund Account Nos. 100.110.110.03.322, 100.110.110.03.323, 100.110.110.03.324 and 100.110.132.03.301.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel for Mayor Paul Anthony Courtney, Council Member Marilyn Dyer Kruse, Council Member Barbara Rose and City Clerk Andrea Flores to Long Beach, CA for the League of California Cites Annual Conference.
