CHANGE OF OFFICERS FOR YEAR 2022
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Approve the 2022 change in officers for the Barstow Public Facilities Corporation, and accept the 'Statement of Information' (Form 100) and the 'Statement of Facts' (Form 405) reflecting updated information. The statements have been filed with the California Secretary of State.
DISCUSSION:
Subject to Section 5.01 of the Barstow Public Facilities Corporation's Bylaws (Number and Quantifications), the officers of the Corporation shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer and such subordinate officers, including one or more assistant secretaries and assistant financial officers, as the Board of Directors may appoint. Only directors shall be qualified to hold the office of President or Vice President. Neither the Secretary nor the Chief Financial Officer may serve concurrently as the President.
Updates for 2022 include designating City Manager Willie Hopkins, Jr. as the Designated Agent. As the City has not filled the Assistant City Manager or Finance Director vacancies, Administrative Services Manager Heidy Riley will continue to serve as the Assistant Financial Officer.
Therefore, the Board of Directors will be as follows:
