CHANGE IN OFFICERS FOR 2022/2023
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Approve the change in officers for the Barstow Community Services Foundation, and accept the 'Statement of Facts' (Form 405) and 'Statement of Information' (Form 100) reflecting updated information.
Both statements have been filed with the California Secretary of State.
DISCUSSION:
Subject to Section 5.01 (Number and Title) and Section 5.03 (Duties of Treasurer) of the Barstow Community Services Foundation's Bylaws, the officers of the Foundation shall be an Executive Director, a Secretary, and a Chief Financial Officer who shall be designated the Treasurer. The Foundation may also have, as determined by the Board of Directors, a President, one or more Vice Presidents, Assistant Secretaries, Assistant Treasurers, or other officers. Any number of offices may be held by the same person except that neither the Secretary nor the Treasurer, nor any Assistant Secretaries or Assistant Treasurers, may serve as the President or Executive Director. Historically, the offices have been held by the titles of officials.
Therefore, the Board of Directors will be as follows:
