STREET MURALS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representative(s) from the Barstow Chamber of Commerce will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the Main Street USA Car Show held October 8, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
At the July 18, 2022 City Council meeting, Council waived the fees associated with the street closure for the Main Street USA Car Show (Measure Q community promotional fund donation) to help offset the costs of this event held on October 8, 2022. The waiver of fees was included in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Measure Q budget.
Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or inkind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for benefit of the community. The Barstow Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street Murals, as a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, will be providing its after-event report and presentation.
