AMENDMENT TO THE CITY COUNCIL RULES FOR THE CONDUCT OF ITS MEETING PROCEEDINGS AND BUSINESS AND REPEALING RESOLUTION 4647-2011 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council is asked to consider changing the Order of Business for regular, adjourned or special meetings as outlined in Section II of the proposed resolution.
DISCUSSION:
At the June 20, 2022 meeting, the City Council was asked to consider changing the Order of Business for regular, adjourned or special meetings as outlined in Section II of the proposed resolution. The Council tabled the item and directed that it be reviewed by the Rules and Policies Committee. The Rules and Policies Committee reviewed the item on September 27, 2022 and October 25, 2022 and it was the consensus to consider changing the Order of Business as outlined in Section II of the proposed resolution. The City Council is being asked to adopt Resolution 5108-2022 which updates the City Council's Order of Business.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 5108-2022, amending the City Council rules for the conduct of its meeting proceedings and business, repealing Resolution 4647-2011; and waive the full reading.
