EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Barstow Youth Sports Coalition is asking for financial assistance to help offset the costs of the Barstow Youth Sports Awards Banquet to be held on February 11, 2023, at the Harvey House.
DISCUSSION:
The Barstow Youth Sports Coalition is hosting the first annual Barstow Youth Sports Awards Banquet to be held on February 11, 2023 at the Harvey House. The organization is asking for in-kind financial assistance to help offset the costs of the event.
Barstow Youth Sports Coalition serves the youth sports organizations in the City of Barstow. The awards ceremony will honor those who have worked tirelessly throughout the year for the children of Barstow.
This award will let these individuals know that we in Barstow truly appreciate their dedication to our kids.
Attached is the Community Promotional Fund Application along with supporting documents for Council review.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$1,000 of in-kind donations of fee waivers. For Fiscal Year 2022-2023 total charged to 102.150.542.07.755 of in-kind donations of fee waivers total $42,137.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $1,000 for waiver of fees for use of the Harvey House.
