APPROVAL OF TRAVEL TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES NEW MAYORS AND COUNCIL
MEMBERS ACADEMY IN UNIVERSAL CITY, CA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel to the League of California Cities New Mayors and Council Members Academy in Universal City, CA for Mayor Courtney, Mayor Pro Tem Noble, Council Members Rose, and Kruse.
DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities New Mayors and Council Members Academy is scheduled for February 1 - 3, 2023, in Universal City, CA. It is requested that the City Council approve attendance at this event for Mayor Courtney, Mayor Pro Tem Noble, Council Members Rose, and Kruse. Estimated costs to attend this conference (per person) are as follows:
Conference Registration $ 625.00
Travel/Transportation $ 149.00
Parking $ 100.00
Meals $ 200.00
Hotel $ 750.00
TOTAL $ 1824.00
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2022/23 budget from General Fund Account Nos. 100.110.110.03.301, 100.110.110.03.321, 100.110.110.03.322, 100.110.110.03.323 and 100.110.110.03.324.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel of Mayor Courtney, Mayor Pro Tem Noble, Council Members Rose, and Kruse, to Universal City, CA for the League of California Cites New Mayors and Council Members Academy.
