COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUND APPLICATION FOR NEW HOPE VILLAGE, INC.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
New Hope Village, Inc. is asking for assistance to help offset the costs of the organization's Tea Party event to be held on April 22, 2023 at the Harvey House.
DISCUSSION:
New Hope Village, Inc. is asking for a fee waiver for the use of the Harvey House to help with expenses for their Tea Party. The event helps raise money to offer assistance with transitional housing and case management programs that are provided by New Hope Village.
Attached is the Community Promotional Fund Application along with supporting documents for Council review. Per the Community Promotional Fund Policy, the City will accept Community Promotional Fund applications during the course of each fiscal year until the contingency funding allocation has been exhausted.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$1,000 of in-kind donations of fee waivers. Cash grant awards to-date for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 total $1,500 charged to 102.150.542.07.755 and in-kind donations of fee waivers total $52,864.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Community Promotional Fund fee waiver for the use of the Harvey House in the amount of $1,000.
