CHANGE OF OFFICERS FOR YEAR 2023
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Approve the 2023 change in officers for the Barstow Public Facilities Corporation, and accept the 'Statement of Information' (Form 100) and the 'Statement of Facts' (Form 405) reflecting updated information. The statements have been filed with the California Secretary of State.
DISCUSSION:
Subject to Section 5.01 of the Barstow Public Facilities Corporation's Bylaws (Number and Quantifications), the officers of the Corporation shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer and such subordinate officers, including one or more assistant secretaries and assistant financial officers, as the Board of Directors may appoint. Only directors shall be qualified to hold the office of President or Vice-President. Neither the Secretary nor the Chief Financial Officer may serve concurrently as the President.
Updates for 2023 include designating Councilmember Hernandez as a board member as a result of the November 8, 2022 election.
Therefore, the Board of Directors will be as follows:
