AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION BY BARSTOW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & MAIN
STREET USA CAR SHOW
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representative(s) from the Barstow Chamber of Commerce will be providing an after-event report and presentation on the Main Street USA Car Show held October 14, 2023.
DISCUSSION:
During the July 17, 2023 City Council meeting, the fees associated with the street closure for the Main Street USA Car Show (Measure Q community promotional fund donation) were waived to help offset the event's cost, which took place on October 14, 2023. This fee waiver was included in the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Measure Q budget.
Recipients of promotional fund grants or in-kind services are obliged to provide an after-event report and presentation to the City Council, outlining how the funding has been used to benefit the community. The Barstow Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street USA Car Show, as community promotional fund grant recipients, will be providing their after-event report and presentation as per the Community Promotional Fund Policy.
