APPROVAL FOR COUNCIL MEMBER BARBARA ROSE TO TRAVEL TO THE CITY LEADERS
SUMMIT IN SACRAMENTO, CA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel for Council Member Rose to attend the City Leaders Summit in Sacramento, CA on April 17 - 19, 2024.
DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities is having its annual City Leaders Summit scheduled for April 17 - 19, 2024 in Sacramento, California. This event allows City officials to meet with legislators to advocate for cities’ top priorities and participate in peer-to-peer discussions and in-depth sessions covering topics ranging from leadership to emerging issues facing cities.
It is requested that the City Council approve travel for Council Member Barbara Rose. The estimated costs to attend are as follows:
Registration $ 650.00
Travel/Transportation $ 175.00
Meals $ 150.00
Hotel $ 801.57
TOTAL $ 1776.57
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2023/24 budget from General Fund Account No. 100.110.110.03.324.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel for Council Member Barbara Rose to attend the League of California Cities annual City Leaders Summit scheduled for April 17 - 19, 2024
