EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel for Council Member Hernandez to attend the City County Conference in Lake Arrowhead, CA, May 16 - 17, 2024.
DISCUSSION:
San Bernardino County will host its yearly City County Conference on May 16 - 17, 2024, in Lake Arrowhead, California. This event provides an opportunity for City officials to connect with County representatives to receive updates that impact the cities within San Bernardino County. Additionally, it helps to inform them about available resources. The conference also facilitates interactions among cities for in-depth conversations about shared challenges and situations affecting their respective communities.
It is requested that the City Council approve travel for Council Member Carmen Hernandez. The estimated costs to attend are as follows:
Travel/Transportation $ 119.00
Meals $ 50.00
Hotel $ 223.32
TOTAL $ 392.32
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2023/24 budget from General Fund Account No. 100.110.110.03.319 RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel for Council Member Hernandez to attend the City-County Conference in Lake Arrowhead scheduled for May 16 - 17, 2024.
