EQUIPMENT AT DANA PARK
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

City Council authorize Final Acceptance of Pacific Play Systems Inc. Replacement of Playground Equipment at Dana Park by filing the attached Notice of Completion.

DISCUSSION:

On November 2, 2020, the City Council approved an application to the California Department of Parks and Recreation's Office of Grants and Local Services (OGAL) to secure an allocation of $177,952. The city had to submit a project application for approval as part of the grant. Due to its central location and proximity to Interstate 15, Dana Park is one of the most popular parks in the city for both the community and travelers.

After confirming that all work was completed according to the approved plans and specifications, the staff is now seeking City Council approval for the project's Final Acceptance and authorization to submit the required Notice of Completion to the San Bernardino County Recorder.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This project is fully funded by the California Department of Parks and Recreation's Office of Grants and Local Services (OGAL).

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:

1. Approve Final Acceptance of Pacific Play System, Inc. to Replacement of Playground Equipment at Dana Park. Project Number 18-36-019.

2. Authorize staff to file the attached Notice of Completion.
