COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUND APPLICATION FROM THE ART AND INDUSTRIAL WOMEN'S CLUB
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Art and Industrial Women's Club is seeking financial assistance to help offset the costs of hosting its Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Sturnacle Park for the amount of $1,000 in cash and $1,193.16 of in-kind donations.
DISCUSSION:
The Art and Industrial Women’s Club is once again hosting its Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Sturnacle Park. The organization is asking for a cash donation in the amount of $1,000 to help with the purchase of food and supplies and $1,193.16 of in-kind donation to cover the following expenses:
20 Tables = $200
75 Chairs = $75
Water = $200
Electricity = $200
Personnel (2 employees) = $518.16
Total = $1,193.16.
Attached is the Community Promotional Fund Application for Council review.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Request for a cash grant award of $1,000 and $1,193.16 donation charged to account Measure Q Community Promotional Fund 102.150.542.07.755.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve a Community Promotional Fund donation in the amount of $1,000 and $1,193.16 of in-kind donations to the Art and Industrial Women's Club.
