FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, The City of Barstow (hereinafter referred to as “Grantor”) a municipality and public agency, the successor agency to BARSTOW PARK-RECREATION DISTRICT, hereby REMISES, RELEASES and FOREVER QUITCLAIMS to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Grantee”) all of its right, title and interest in that certain real property in the City of Barstow, County of San Bernardino, State of California (the “Property”), Assessor’s Parcel Number 0182-212- 08, as described in attached Exhibit “A,” and depicted on Exhibit “B,” attached hereto and incorporated herein.
SUBJECT TO current real property taxes and to covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations, exceptions, rights and easements of record.
Grantee hereby releases Grantor from any and all rights and remedies Grantee may now or hereafter have against Grantor, whether known or unknown, which may arise from or be related to (a) the physical condition, quality, quantity and state of repair of the Property and (b) the Property’s compliance or lack of compliance with any federal, state or local laws or regulations.
