APPROVAL OF TRAVEL TO THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN
LONG BEACH, CA
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel to the League of California Cities Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA for Mayor Courtney.
DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities Annual Conference is scheduled for October 16 - 18, 2024, in Log Beach, CA. It is requested that the City Council approve attendance at this event for Mayor Courtney.
Estimated costs to attend this conference are as follows:
Conference Registration $ 700.00
Travel/Transportation $ 149.00
Parking $ 100.00
Meals $ 200.00
Hotel $ 750.00
TOTAL $ 1906.00
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2024/25 budget from General Fund Account No. 100.110.110.03.322.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel of Mayor Courtney, to Long Beach, CA for the League of California Cites New Mayors and Council Members Academy.
