FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF MOJAVE RIVER VALLEY MUSEUM ROOF RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
That Council approve the final acceptance of Mojave River Valley Museum Roof Reconstruction Project by filing the attached Notice of Completion.
DISCUSSION:
As part of the CDBG Construction Projects requirements, the City is obligated to submit a Notice of Completion to the San Bernardino County Recorder. Staff is requesting the City Council's approval for the project's Final Acceptance and authorization to file the necessary Notice of Completion with the Recorder.
Upon reviewing all project-related expenses, it has been determined that the total construction costs were below budget, amounting to $28,600.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No direct fiscal impact to City of Barstow as the project was completed utilizing CDBG funding.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve final acceptance for the Mojave River Valley Museum Roof Replacement Project #2022-05 (CDH Project Number BARS-21-1-03Z/0238)
2. Authorize staff to file the attached Notice of Completion
