AGENDA MATTER:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE STREET CLOSURE FOR THE ARTS AND CULTURAL DISTRICT FESTIVAL EVENT ON OCTOBER 12, 2024.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
City Council to adopt Resolution No. ____ - 2024, approving the Request for Street Closure for the Arts and Cultural District Festival on October 12, 2024.
DISCUSSION:
The Arts and Cultural District Festival event organizers are requesting a street closure of Cozy Ln from the west side of the driveway of 1st Avenue to the alleyway behind 201 N 1st Avenue on October 12, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The organizers are conducting traffic control internally.
There will be no costs associated with this event that will fiscally impact the City of Barstow.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to the City of Barstow.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. ____ -2024, approving the Street Closure and Statement of Findings for the Arts and Cultural District Festival Event on October 12, 2024, and to waive the reading.
