APPROVAL OF TRAVEL FOR CITY CLERK ANDREA FLORES TO ATTEND THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES - NEW LAW SEMINAR, DECEMBER 11 - 13, IN NAPA, CA EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
It is requested that the City Council approve travel to the League of California Cities New Law Seminar in Napa, CA for City Clerk Andrea Flores.
DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities City Clerk New Law Seminar will be held on December 11 - 13, 2024, in Napa, CA. The New Law and Elections Seminar enhances understanding of various topics pertinent to the city clerk's responsibilities. It also promotes relationship-building and communication among colleagues. It is requested that the City Council approve attendance at this workshop for City Clerk Andrea Flores. The estimated costs to attend this workshop are as follows:
Registration $ 550.00
Travel/Transportation $ 435.00
Meals $ 200.00
Hotel $ 640.00
TOTAL $ 1,825.00
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the FY 2024/25 budget from General Fund Account No. 100.110.132.03.301.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve travel for City Clerk Andrea Flores to the League of California Cities City Clerk New Law Seminar on December 11 - 13, 2024, in Napa CA.
