DOS COSTAS - NEW MEXICO CHILI COOK OFF & BELEN FIESTAS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Dos Costas - New Mexico Chili Cook-Off & Belen Fiestas received funding from Measure Q on September 16, 2024. The council approved a monetary contribution of $3,000, along with the total fees related to the event, which are yet to be determined.
DISCUSSION:
Council Member Williams, supported by Mayor Silva, proposed adding a discussion item to the agenda to seek clarification regarding the funding for the New Mexico Chili Cook-off and Belen Fiestas.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The direction of the Council is uncertain at this time. The funding for this event originally came from Measure Q - Community Promotional Fund Account No. 102.150.542.07.755.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff is asking for direction from Council.
