PROTEST HEARING - UNPAID NUISANCE ABATEMENT FEES APN 0181-247-04-000 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Conduct a protest hearing for the property owner who have been notified regarding an assessment for certain unpaid nuisance abatement fees for APN 0181-247-04-000 DISCUSSION:
At the regular meeting of May 6, 2025, the City Council set May 20, 2025 at 7:00p.m. as the date and time for a Public Hearing regarding the report of unpaid nuisance abatement fees for APN 0181-247-04- 000.
The property owner was notified by certified mail regarding the date and time of the Public Hearing.
Records are updated as payments are received from the property owner. Delinquent amount are reflected as of May 6, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The account will be forwarded to the County of San Bernardino. Upon adoption of the resolution, the past due nuisance abatement will be added to the property owner's property tax bill for collection. At this time, there is $27,749.50 in past due nuisance abatement fees.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends to Conduct a protest hearing for APN 0181-247-04-000. Subject to testimony received, adopt the attached Resolution No. ____-2025, Making Determinations and Confirming Assessments and Proceedings for Unpaid Nuisance Abatement Fees, and waive the full reading.
