CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION FOR SEASON 3 MEMBER OF BARSTOW CAPTIVATED DANCE
COMPANY
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
A certificate of recognition will be presented to the Season 3 members of Captivated Dance Company.
Captivated Dance Company is a new dance studio located in Barstow, offering both competitive and recreational dance classes for children aged 2.5 and up.
During the past season, members participated in eight group dances, alongside many soloists and duo/trios competing throughout California. In their final competition of the 2024-2025 season, held in Palm Springs, all of their members participated and achieved numerous accolades, including several firstplace overall awards, as well as top 3 and top 5 placements, and diamond awards.
As a studio, Captivated Dance Company was honored with the Elite Studio Award, a significant recognition. Two of their group dances advanced to the Grand Finale, a competition featuring the highestscoring dances in their respective categories. Their Junior Hip Hop group dance placed 3rd overall in the advanced category, earning the title of Grand Finale Champions. Additionally, their Junior Open group dance won 1st overall, making them Grand National Champions for the Junior Competitive level, an impressive achievement for dancers aged 9 to 11.
This accomplishment is incredibly exciting for everyone at Captivated Dance Company and our small town of Barstow, especially considering they competed against over 1,670 other dances.
