FINAL ACCEPTANCE FOR WWTP POND 1 & 2 PUMPING SYSTEM
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting the City Council to authorize the Final Acceptance of the Pond Pumping System Project at the Wastewater Treatment Plant by filing the attached Notice of Completion.
DISCUSSION:
On June 3, 2025, the City Council approved a contract with Kelley's Underground Construction for the installation of the Pond 1 & 2 Pumping System Project. The installation of the new piping and valving has been completed in compliance with the approved plans and specifications, minor adjustments due to avoiding an existing pipe. Contractor submitted redline drawings. Staff is requesting the City Council approve the Final Acceptance of the project and authorize staff to submit the required Notice of Completion to the San Bernardino County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The approved project was budget for $348,660.00 and the project was completed for $341,280. This initiative was completed under budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve the Final Acceptance of Project WWTP-25-001, WWTP Pond 1 & 2 pumping system;
2. Authorize staff to file the attached Notice of Completion.
