APPROVAL OF PROPOSED MURAL DESIGNS – CENTENNIAL - CELEBRATING THE MOTHER ROAD AT 305 E. MAIN STREET
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Main Street Murals representative(s) will present Council with a mural rendering for approval. The location for the proposed mural is 305 E. Main Street.
DISCUSSION:
At the regular City Council Meeting held on November 18, 2024, the City Council approved the renewal of the Public Services Agreement with Main Street Murals for an additional two years.
According to Section 7.2 of the renewed Professional Services Agreement, Main Street Murals must present renderings of proposed mural designs to the City Council for review and approval before any painting activities can begin.
The proposed mural has received design approval from the building owners, Lorena and Abel Contreras II. It is set to be located at 305 E. Main Street and has obtained written authorization from the property owners for this project.
Attached for the Council's review are:
- A copy of the current Professional Services Agreement. - A copy of the License Agreement.
- Renderings of the proposed mural.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for the Mural Program was approved by City Council on November 18, 2024. GL Account 102.150.542.07.768

Approve the proposed mural renderings
