ADDENDUM TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGS- TEAMSTERS UNIT 1 & 2 FOR CONTRACT TERM 7/1/25-6/30/26 AND MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION UNIT 6 CONTRACT TERM 7/1/22-6/30/25
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
DISCUSSION:
The prior Memorandum of Understanding between the Management Association and the City of Barstow for term July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2025 needs to be corrected to include the following classifications. These classifications were added to the salary schedule during the term of the contract and need to be added to the previous MOU:
-Senior Accountant
-Senior Administrative Analyst
-Fire Marshall
-Assistant to the City Manager
-Community Development Manager
-Park and Recreation Coordinator
-Principal Accountant
-Public Works Superintendent
-Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent
The Memorandum of Understandings for Unit 1 & Unit 2 between Teamsters Local 1932 and the City of Barstow for the term of July 1, 2025- June 30, 2026 both require an addendum to the contract regarding Article 28: Uniforms, Safety Boots, and Safety Equipment. The section pertaining to Tier I in both MOU's was inadvertently omitted.

Staff is requesting Council approve the addition of the classifications listed above, to be added to the MOU between the Management Association and the City of Barstow for the contract term of July 1, 2022 Joint Special Council/BFPD

- June 30, 2025. Staff is also recommending Council approve the correction to Article 28: Uniforms, Safety Boots, and Safety Equipment for the MOU's Unit 1 & Unit 2 between Teamsters and the City of Barstow.
