AFTER-EVENT REPORT AND PRESENTATION BY MOJAVE VALLEY UNITED WAY EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Representative(s) from Mojave Valley United Way will be providing an after-event report and presentation on The Boots & Bling Event held on November 8, 2025
DISCUSSION:
At the October 21, 2025, City Council meeting, the Council granted a Community Promotional Fund donation for the use of the Harvey House, a fee waiver of $2,801.54 to Mojave Valley United Way to help offset the costs of the Boots & Bling event. The waiver of fees were included in the FY 2025-2026 budget.
Per the Policy, applicants who are awarded a promotional fund grant or in-kind services must commit to providing an after-event report and presentation to the City Council outlining how the group used the funding provided by the City of Barstow for the benefit of the community. As a recipient of a community promotional fund grant, Mojave Valley United Way will be providing its after-event report and presentation.

None.
